The Malaysia Premium Visa Program (PVIP) offers foreign individuals a 20-year renewable residency with no minimum stay requirements
No Age Barriers
Anyone can apply as the principal applicant regardless of age, as long as they meet the PVIP eligibility.
Long-Term Residency Privilege
The PVIP grants a 20-year residency status with the option to renew for an additional 20 years, offering up to 40 years of security.
No Residency Obligation
PVIP holders are not bound by physical stay requirements or minimum presence rules in Malaysia.
Family & Dependants
Applicants may include their spouse, children, parents, parents-in-law, and domestic helpers as dependants, subject to prevailing immigration regulations.
Freedom to Work & Invest
Participants may work, run businesses, pursue studies, invest, and own property (in line with state regulations) with the same rights as Malaysian citizens.
Ease Of Access
Simple application process and relatively quick processing time between 3-4 months.
PVIP Requirements
Proof of Income
RM40,000 per month / RM480,000 per annum
Fixed Deposit in Malaysia
RM1 million
50% withdrawal permitted after 1 year for the purposes of purchasing real estate, education or medical expenses.
Other Requirements
Letter of Good Conduct / Police Clearance
from original country required for main applicant, spouse and children above 18 yrs old
PVIP Government Fees
1. Participation Fee
​Main Applicant: RM 200,000
Dependent: RM 100,000 per person
2. Annual Pass Fee
Main Applicant: RM2,000 per year
Dependent: RM2,000 per year per person
3. Multiple Entry Visa Fee
Based on existing rates by country.
